The first thing to do is make sure that the key you’re using corresponds to the software you’re trying to activate.
Next, you’ll need to copy and paste your license information into the program. Most often when a key isn’t being accepted, it’s because it was typed incorrectly, and using copy and paste eliminates those little accidental errors. Copying and pasting is easy, if you follow these two steps:
- Highlight the Key code using your left mouse button (this will make it blue on most computers), then click on the highlighted area with the right mouse button and choose “Copy” from the options that appear.
- Go into the program you’re activating, place your cursor in the field that’s asking for your Key, click the right mouse button again and this time choose “Paste”.
If you’re still having trouble with your key your best bet is to contact the experts, the team that makes and supports your product. You’ll find their contact information near the bottom of your confirmation email under “Technical and Product-Related Support”, or you can visit the website where you made your purchase.
