How can I deactivate the automatic renewal of my Avira subscription?
You can easily deactivate the automatic license renewal of your subscription by logging in to your Avira Connect account. Please enter the email address you used during the checkout process, as well as its respective password.
How can I receive a refund for my Avira order?
To receive a refund, please get in touch with Avira’s support team via phone (or email) via the link here.
Please scroll down to the section “Contact Avira". Right under that you'll see a link that says "Get in touch". Once you click on that, you'll be directed to a page where you can enter your email address to contact Avira via phone or email.
How can I retrieve my Avira order information?
You can easily retrieve all the information regarding your Avira orders and subscriptions by logging in to your Avira Connect account. Please note that if the automatic renewal option of your subscription is active, no new license key will be delivered. Instead, the validity of the original key you purchased will be extended accordingly.

How can I log into my Avira Connect account?
Why did my Avira license renew automatically?
Depending on the type of license you’ve acquired, it was offered either as a subscription with the automatic license renewal active from the start, or you had the option to select between manual and automatic renewal prior to finalizing the purchase. How can I transfer my Avira license to a new device?
If you need to transfer your Avira license to another device, you’ll need to install the same product on the new device. However, in order to avoid a conflict with your license, please first uninstall the product from the previous device.
The easiest way to access your Avira license for the reinstallation, is to log into your account at this location here.
Once inside your account, you can click on the “Devices” option on the navigation bar to the left to manually uninstall the license from any device it is currently installed on. Then, you can click on the “Subscriptions” options, followed by “Activate new License” to finally reinstall the license on the new device.
How can I change my payment method for future Avira subscription renewals?
Changing your Avira payment details is easy! There are two ways you can change your payment details:
Option 1: You can change your payment details for any future or upcoming renewals directly on your Avira account.
In your account, click on the drop-down icon next to your name on the upper right hand of the screen. This will allow you to go into the “My Account” section.
Under “My Avira Account”, you should see a “Billing” option. Click on that to update your payment details.
Of course, you can also contact the Avira Support Team at any time for further assistance when submitting your payment details.
If your Avira renewal already took place and your old payment information was declined, you can also update your payment details through the email you received to inform you of the decline. Please remember to always check your spam or junk folder to see if our emails were filtered there.

It’s easy to reset your Avira account password!
Simply click on the "Forgot your password?" link you can see under the "Log In" button. You’ll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Avira account. You’ll then receive an email containing a link to reset your password. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder, in case the message should be filtered there.
