My Malwarebytes software disappeared. What can I do to get it back?

Malwarebtyes recently released a new version of its Premium software.  Ideally, the software will update automatically.  If you're having any difficulty with the update, such as the software disappearing from your computer during the update process, there are a couple of steps you can take to correct it.

  1. Download the trial version of the software from the Malwarebytes home page
